Managing Director, Global Head of Onboarding Transformation - Policy and Process and Intl' Head of CLM

Andrea Fernandes serves as the International Head of Client Lifecycle Management and Global Lead of Client Onboarding Transformation for CIB. She specializes in policy and process transformation, focused on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of client-related operations. Based in London, Andrea leads a global team responsible for onboarding and servicing clients across EMEA, LATAM, Canada, and APAC. Her remit includes oversight of Know Your Customer (KYC), account opening, and exits/offboarding. In her transformation capacity, Andrea is committed to delivering enhanced client experiences by streamlining onboarding processes and reducing the number of client touchpoints Andrea joined Wells Fargo in 2022 from JPMorgan where she held leadership roles in Client Onboarding and Party Reference Data Transformation. During her time at JPMorgan, Andrea collaborated closely with the Global LEI Foundation to pioneer the LEI Validation Agent role. This initiative enables regulated financial institutions to utilize their existing identity verification processes, making it easier and more cost-effective for clients to obtain a Legal Entity Identifier (LEI). Andrea began her career in Sales and Trading technology at Deutsche Bank.
