Global Head of KYC

Steve Gitlin currently serves as the Global Head of Know Your Customer (KYC) Advisory for Morgan Stanley. In this capacity, he is responsible for the oversight and implementation of the firm’s KYC Program across the firm. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Steve spent 12 years at JPMorgan where he held several positions in Global Financial Crimes Compliance and Operations with the last 5 years in the position of Executive Director and Global Head of KYC Advisory for the Wholesale Bank, covering Capital Markets, Wholesale Payments, Securities Services and Merchant processing lines of business. Steve has over 15 years of experience in developing and executing KYC and Client Onboarding programs at global financial institutions with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, efficiency, process optimization and client experience.
